from India in the near future. If however supplies
become available am I to take it that imports from Indo
China, North China and Japan are comparatively
unobjectionable? (2) Government supplies of certain
manufactured products from the United Kingdom appear
likely to be interrupted or seriously delayed. Where
such supplies are essential, I shall use careful
discretion in buying from United States or other non-
sterling countries,
